hi! the best option is what's described in that doc, using pending updates
there's nothing to rollback because the change doesn't happen unless the payment succeeds
Will the subscription price not change if the payment of the prorated amount fail?
no, that's the idea of the pending update feature
the update only applies if the payment for the invoice succeeds
so if the next billing cycle comes while the invoice is still in a failed 'status' the customer will be charged the original amount?
