Which connected account type do you use? Standard, Express or Custom?

For Express connected account, the flow you described will be possible using Destination Charges with on_behalf_of: https://docs.stripe.com/connect/destination-charges#settlement-merchant

For cross-region support, you must specify the settlement merchant to the connected account using the on_behalf_of

Creating destination charges on your platform

With Connect, you can create charges on your platform account, take fees, and then transfer remaining funds to your connected accounts.
