You might want to be careful about timezones. All timestamps in Stripe are in UTC, but they can be translated in to different times across different timezones. Therefore, a charge happens on 1st day of month can happen on 31st instead, which can be confusing to your customers.

Is the recommended approach to instead figure out their timezone and then calculate the billing_cycle_anchor in UTC based on that?
I understand that a lot of it is up to our discretion, but more curious in your opinion which you see more often (if you even know)
My personal advice is to avoid the 1st day and last day of the month
