Yes to your first question. And no way to say "don't deny it" but it doesn't really matter even if the account is rejected it won't affect the flow in Test mode or looking at the branding details

Basically how do you suggest I create an account for testing to connect to our Connect platform?

  1. create a new account in your Dashboard, name it whatever you want
  2. Activate it
  3. Connect it to your platform via OAuth in Live mode like you do for all your accounts

Right but I thought we had an account set up for this but just realized it is corrupted in that it was turned into a Connect platform so if I use it to test I am testing what a connect platform looks like connected to a connnect platform but I need to test what it looks like to connect vanilla standard account to our connect platform but it needs to be live since brand settings only exist live. OK. will do. I thought you had said the way to do it was via the API but I will just do it in the dash.
