No, Stiripe won't send invoices if their collection_method is charge_automatically. But Stripe will send receipt emails if you have enabled it in your settings

Every month I charge a % commission to each customer based on how much sales we help to drive.
I want to list each "sale" we helped drive using the invoice item, I tried out the charge API but it couldnt break it down line by line.
Ended up looking into the invoice API as there are invoice items. We have their payment method saved and they are happy with us charging automatically but for tax reasons they need an invoice from us including our GST number (NZ company)
