Hello! No, funds aren't immediately available in that scenario. What type of connected accounts are you using? Standard? Express? Custom?

Standard

How long after the invoice is paid are they made available for me to send to the connected account?

Typically you would use direct charges with Standard accounts, but it sounds like you're using separate charges and transfers? Is that correct?

bitter pagoda
#

Yeah
Main reason is because standard accounts are free (big plus for me right now) AND I couldn't see a way of attaching a subscription to a connected account

#

I'm looking for an affiliate marketing solution in a way but not with one off purchases

You can create Subscriptions directly on your Connected Accounts, that works just fine.

#

Is the Subscription only meant to transfer funds to a single Connected Account?

bitter pagoda
#

yes, but not forever

#

as in, there may be a contract where it's like for 1-2 years the connected account will get a percentage of the revenue

#

my plan b was to just wait for funds to settle for the previous month and then manually payout the connected accounts

Okay, well overall we don't recommend using Separate Charges & Transfers with Standard Accounts. It can lead to a lot of confusion for your Connected Account users... like they issue a refund via their Dashboard and they think they refund the end-customer but really they just reverse the Transfer to your Platform.

#

But if you do want to pursue the above, then when you create a Transfer you can set a source_transaction

#

That allows you to Transfer funds before they are actually available

No refunds necessary. the user will only be dealing with my platform for everything. The connected account is really just to keep the money all within stripe so it's easy to pay affiliates.

source_transaction should work! Thank you!
