That Payment Intent hit the maximum number of confirmations and was canceled as a result.
That's rare, but can happen if a Payment Intent has a ton of failures.

hmm, that's interesting. Do you know how many number of confirmations it needs to be canceled as a result? Any related document would be really appreciated

The limit can be variable, and I don't think we document the details. It's a large number though. The primary reason it exists is to combat fraud and abuse, I've never known it to impact legimitate payments.

I see. Thanks for the information tho! I was able to reproduce it on staging by just trying to attempt to pay the payment intent with decline card multiple times
