  1. you set the appropriate values in the settings parameter when creating/updating the accounts https://docs.stripe.com/connect/manage-payout-schedule
  2. yes they use Connect. I don't know the answer to the second part of the question, but it's probably 'no' — merchants would create new accounts for use with your platform.
