Is there any information about whether these unified accounts (preference 1) OR the use of embedded components through custom accounts (preference 2) are available in Canada in live mode. If they are not available, is there any timeline of when they will be available in Canada in live mode, since I would not prefer to have to integrate express accounts, which will be difficult to migrate away from in the future.

Unfortunately, I have been back and forth with stripe support for the past 2 months (im not kidding, i started contacting them about it in early december), and it seems that the stripe agents are not aware of unified accounts, they are only aware of using express, standard, and custom accounts. I am assuming you guys are aware of unified accounts as it must have been developed by you guys, so it is up to the product team to determine when and where unified accounts are released then?

Yeah, we're aware of unified accounts, but it's a completely separate team that decides on the launch/the specifics of the product and we don't typically talk about beta features here

Okay, ya that makes sense. So if after 2 months, I havn't gotten a straight answer about unified accounts from support, is there someone else i should talk to?

I'm taking over for my colleague who needs to step away soon. I recommend you keep pushing on support in the near term as my colleague recommended. It may still take a while to get clear advice but it's really the best approach currently.
