Hello! It'd be best for the merchant to reach out to stripe support (https://support.stripe.com/contact)

I can’t do anything about it for him? He’s always busy and hardly gets back to me, I wanted to make the process for him easier since it was a misunderstanding from my end .

Hi- Just a side note (I don't work for Stripe)- In my own experience with a scenario like this, because you received the money back already, there's a cycle that may take 1-3 months for the dispute to finally be resolved. Having been through a couple of dispute cycles myself... the credit card company always gives you the money back immediately and then goes through a slow process to review. This is just my anecdotal advice about what might happen next. You could get lucky and the funds may go back to the other party immediately.

Well yes, it’s already off my account, but he’s telling me there’s nothing on his yet? It’s been 3 days that is been away from my account, it’s been charged .

Oh- so you're saying "Charged back" as in the payment went back to the vendor.

Just show the vendor proof and that's all you can do, IMHO.

Yes, I did but he told me that even if there’s proof, the money still isn’t on his account, so he can’t hold his end until he receives any confirmation from stripe .

Yeah there really isn't anything more that you (as the customer) can do to speed up the dispute resolution process other than speaking to your bank and seeing if there's anything they can do. Other than that it's really on the merchant to reach out to stripe's support if they want more details on the timeline

Right I just didn’t want to bother him as I was the one that was in the wrong, and he’s usually very busy .
