Hi there 👋 if you've also enabled that payment method in your dashboard, then I believe so. Is that working in your testing?

So in my dashboad payment methods section I have two sections:

  1. Your account
  2. Your connected accounts

I have enabled in Your account section but unable to do it in the other part, it says off by default and the on by default option is greyed out

When I hover over action required it says:

... You can activate this payment method for Custom and Express accounts using the API or your payment method settings page.

I want to activate it from payment method settings

Alright, so sounds like there is more to this than initially mentioned.

So you're trying to activate it for your Connected Accounts? Does that mean you're building a Direct Charges flow with Connect?

Destination Charges use the Payment Methods from your Platform account, because the payment happens on your Platform and funds are then transferred to your Connected Account.

So if I turn off say apple pay for a connected account it does turn it off there for that account's checkout

Not for Destination Charges (the one thing that comes to mind which may make that untrue, is if you're also using on_behalf_of)

Let's reset. Where are you in the process of standing this up and testing, what behavior are you seeing so far?

I am stuck at enabling it from the dashboard

We're not as familiar with the dashboard side of these flows, so I'm not exactly sure why you wouldn't be able to enable it via the dashboard.

I'm not sure why, but based on the note in the dashboard, it doesn't look like it's possible to enable that for your Connected Accounts via the dashboard.

Support is best suited to discuss dashboard limitations, but based on the note in the dashboard it seems expected for this to not be possible so I'm not sure what assistance they could offer:
