Hi there 👋 are you using Checkout Sessions for that?
https://stripe.com/docs/payments/payment-methods/integration-options#:~:text=You can create SetupIntents for Bacs Direct Debit through Checkout using setup mode

I don't think that's supported when working directly with Setup Intents.
