Well yes you can continue to use it is you're an existing platform

Well, if you're onboarding accounts in test mode then you need to be using data from here: https://stripe.com/docs/connect/testing

Testing Stripe Connect

Before going live, test your Connect integration for account creation, identity verification, and payouts.

Using any other data will likely trigger a manual verification review and put the account in unverified states

Let me explain when we use this method (https://stripe.com/docs/connect/oauth-standard-accounts)
It first ask the email Id password and on entering the credentials it shows a window with list of accounts
On this window all acounts are not listing

Using OAuth with Standard accounts

Use the OAuth connection flow to allow a Standard user to connect to your platform.

Then they wouln't be connecting a existing account so it wouldn't be a problem.
