Hi ๐ Transfers and Payouts are two distinct concepts in Stripe, I'd recommend avoiding thinking of them as being interchangeable.
Transferring funds across borders is currently restricted to only being permitted for US-based platforms:
https://stripe.com/docs/connect/cross-border-payouts
Instant Payouts are irrelevant for being able to Transfer funds to your Connected Accounts, the cross-border flow I linked above is what enables that.
Ah, which you had linked to in your other message. Sorry, I feel like I may not be grasping what you're trying to ask.
We have a connect platform doing a destination charge.
Buyer -> Platform -> Seller.
We are unable to get money to the seller if they are outside EU.
We are looking for a solution.
One possible solution, is we setup a company in the USA, create an an US account, and then we believe we would be able to use our balance to do transfer of funds to countries on that list.
Have we misunderstood?
Our alternative is to switch to direct charges, however this is a much larger undertaking.
Sounds like you're understanding correctly
So, ๐ - if we create a US stripe account, and set it up, and move our platform to use that. Our platform will be able to take connected payments from worldwide buyers, then payout cross-boarders to various sellers?
If we, move our platform to use direct connect charges.
EG: Buyer -> Seller, with the platform taking a cut.

Is there any issue in the seller reciving their funds if not in the same country as seller?
-
Is there a way we can do mutiple charges in the same intent? EG: A basket of 'things', 3 payments to 3 different sellers
I believe so technically, but would recommend double checking with our Support team regarding supportability of your use-case:
