You can't really. The maximum auth/hold time is determined by your MCC and in most cases is 7 days
but i checked here: https://stripe.com/docs/payments/place-a-hold-on-a-payment-method, that you can change expiration date. but this option is not available with stripe session object

That doesn't say you can update it. It just tells you when the auth expires
And to be clear, that field will be present for authorisations initialised by Checkout too
Ok Got, just to double confirm, the parameter capture_before will only tell when the authorization expires but there is no flexiblity to update it, authorization expiration depends on the MCC
