Hi there, payment method domain registration is needed for Google Pay, Link. PayPal and Apple Pay. for other payment methods you don't need to.

I see, So still for paypal payment, does the domain name needs to match ? can the stripe user add any domain they want to their account ?

let me see if I get this right, basically paypal just need the domain name to redirect the cash to a specific account on their side, am I right ? I basically can spoof that part I assume with the domain name,
