Understood. They are not helpful. Can you tell me if there are situations where a fee would be charged, but not have a payment intent recorded?

Does a call to paymentIntents->create always create an intent and record it in the dashboard.
All good, I know you want an answer, I just can't help. Me answering this question won't tell you anything. Creating a PaymentIntent is unrelated to trying to collect bank account details during it. You have to work with our support team for 1:1 support for questions like yours, I don't know how it works internally and what can cause a certain fee to be taken without a real record of the attempt
