Hello, can you send me the ID of one of these accounts? acct_1234
acct_1OgVqTQM8yD6GVqO
Thank you, checking in to this and will get back to you
TY
I am consulting my colleagues about this, I see a message about the URL not being able to be reached but am unsure what may prevent that. https://admin.corp.stripe.com/notification/evt_1OgZ6MQM8yD6GVqOZxdpq8yN
but the website is accessible
To browsers yes, sometimes servers or firewalls can prevent Stripe's automated services from reaching out to your server
Or maybe it is another error and this message is a red herring. Trying to dig deeper with colleagues
please,,TY
also im looking at the invidual accounts documentation and I dont see URL being a must to have
I actually do see it on that page when I set the settings to what I see your accounts being created as
these are for onboarding business account ,, the custom account for the driver should be individual
copy that, but why does stripe ask for a website even though its an individual account ?
I am honestly not sure about the reason behind this requirement. That may be something our support team can speak to as it may be some sort of regulatory requirement https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true
yes, I just spoke to them before our conversation and they said its required, they couldn't explain why though and they advised to include the company website on the driver account
am I able to add my team here to this chat?

@heady bay I'm taking over but I don't really grasp the overall issue you're having. Yes a URL is required, yes you can pre-fill that URL in the API and that URL has to work and be able to be loaded not just in a browser but from real code making HTTP request(s) to your server
I will relay the message to devs and probably will add them here for further investigation, because the URL is reachable from the browser but I will have to make sure of the rest . can we keep this chat channel open
also would you be able to take a look into the same ID and tell me what else other than the URL causing the account to be restricted right away after onboarding

You can call the Retrieve Account API https://stripe.com/docs/api/accounts/retrieve and look at the requirements property to see everything (or look at it in the Dashboard).
