hello! are you using the Customer portal to allow your customers to upgrade their plan? If so, can you share an example Subscription id where you're seeing this issue?

Yes, the customers can login via home portal to upgrade their plan themselves
ah yeah, so if the subscription is sending an invoice to collect payment, the customer won't be able to update the Subscription - it's a limitation : https://stripe.com/docs/customer-management#customer-portal-limitations
