leah-connect-payoutschedule
@tepid stone mostly you don't touch anything and we will pay them on the normal default payout schedule, see https://stripe.com/docs/connect/manage-payout-schedule
delay_days is more if you want to explicitly delay some payments
Sounds good to me. Under daily interval:
If user has a successful charge a 9:00 AM
and the payout goes out at 10:00 AM daily, would that 9:00 AM be part of this payout or the next day one?
the next day. See https://stripe.com/docs/payouts that explains how rolling balances work
Thank you!
different question - happy to open another thread.
What should I do if I'd like the first payout to delayed for my connected account?
Could that be handled at the platform dashboard level?
best option is to switch them to manual Payouts until you're ready for them to receive their funds. That way the balance accumulates in their Stripe account
any programmatic way to switch away from manual after a certain time interval?
Thanks for the help. I know it's a stretch ask!
yeah you're not the first one to ask but definitely not a common one. And it's a bit of an awkward API design to have something only apply to the first ever Payout.
