Hello bismarck
Hello
I guess that my question is more for general support, but I did not get a clear answer, and maybe you have more context about that and as consequence clear response
can I share my question?
Sure I'll help if I can
ok! ๐
basically we would like to use the "negative balance" in our connected account to resolve mistake that we have from time to time, and for that what we do is to create a transfer with destination to our application account (so to our application balance)
with this we are able to generate a negative balance
and I know that negative balance produce a reserve transactions
(no sure why as this debts is actually with us so we are reserve money to pay a negative balance that actually the destionation is us as application account)
So the question is why does this Connect Reserve happen?
Or what is the confusion exactly?
in any case, I have read that in 180 days if the negative balance is not resolve, the reserve is use to resolve the negative balance
is it right? and if it is right, the effect in this case is that the money will go back to the same place, right? to the application balance
Yes that's correct.
The money would move from your Connect Reserve Balance back to the Connected Accounts balance after 180 days.
so as a consequency we will need to "recreate" again the negative balance, becuase in show how the debts has not been resolved
Is it right?
If you wanted to maintain a negative balance on the Connected Account at that point then yes.
and is there any way to keep the negative balance there "forever"?
until we receive a payment for that connected account
No that's not possible
