Hello! We currently don't have the ability to pre-pay in advance for a future Subscription (although it's a known feature request we're considering). Your approach sounds like it would work fine. Have you tried it out in test mode?

I have not tried yet. Just wanted a second opinion first. So do you think this is a nice way to simulate this missing feature? Is this how normally people do?

This is a somewhat common approach, yeah. Other approaches involve Subscription Schedules, Customer balances, etc.
