What else should be showing there? I am guessing PayPal and Link?
Oh yes, sorry. Paypal should be shown an all devices and GPay on Android devices.
Is GPay not showing up on android browsers?
I am not immediately sure what may be happening here but am reaching out to my colleagues
It's only showing up on chrome, but unfortunately not when opening it through an ad on instagram. Apple Pay seems to work. Here is a post from our client containing an ad to a product: https://www.instagram.com/p/C14VWS4L4Ib/ I used this for testing on my phone. Desktop there is no link to the product for some reason.
Thanks in advance!

thanks for the description, that is especially surprising that apple pay works on android like this
Oh sorry, the screenshot is from our client who uses an iPhone. 😬 I am using an android phone. This is what I see:
Ah there we go, that is more what I expected. I misread your previous message a bit
This is how it looks in chrome when I open the same link:
👋
So this is expected here due to limitations around webviews.
The short of it is that Paypal has limitations in terms of their modal functioning at all when it is initiated from a Webview. Google Pay requires the use of custom tabs (https://developer.chrome.com/docs/android/custom-tabs/) to function from a web view. And lastly, Apple Pay requires iOS 13+ to work.
I'm not too familiar with how Instagram Ads work, but is it possible to designate via settings or something for the Ad to push users to their Chrome App instead of it opening a Webview?
Thanks for the response! That makes sense now. Unfortunately I don't have access to our client's Instagram account. I will reach out to him and ask for access. I will probably probably get a response tomorrow. 🙂
Sounds good
