#

Thanks for the ID, looking in to it

#

Can you tell me what exactly you did with your test clock experiment? I can piece it together from logs but if you tell me that can help speed this up a lot

tender heron
#

basically i took subscription then i upgraded subscription with diffrent price and before stripe actully try to charge customer i removed card to make payment fail i want to cnacel subscription in 2 days if payment is incomplete

#

I actually don't see that invoice going in to a requires_action state, from what I can see it was open. That setting is more for saved payment methods requiring 3DS when being automatically charged than it is for cancelling subscriptions after a manually paying user got a 3DS error

#

There should be another setting for this though

tender heron
#

yes where to see this?

bitter bridge
#

"Manage failed Payments for subscriptions"

#

The amount of time you tell it to retry over is how long the user will have I think

tender heron
#

1 day will retry the payment right

#

after every one day?

#

what should be the setting for days

bitter bridge
#

It looks like smart retries gives a minimum of one week

#

If you set a custom retry policy you can set it to retry after 1 day twice

#

Keep in mind that this is the overall retry policy for your entire account

tender heron
#

then after 4 retries subscrption will cancel right

#

what is the cancel reason their

Can you test that setting quickly with a test clock? It should show you if it cancels properly and the event will have the proper cancellation reason
