Hello! You can't resume a canceled Subscription, you need to create a new one to replace it.
Resuming a subscription applies to paused Subscriptions, not canceled ones.

What about my paid invoice. Do I make the new subscription retro back to when the canceled one should have renewed?
I want the new subscription to renew at the same time the old one would have if it had been paid on time.
