Well, the main thing that jumps out at me is that you're passing in undefined as the value for external_account, which isn't valid. I don't think that would cause this particular error, but flagging as it's an issue that will prevent this request from working regardless.

Oh, this is an Express account. You, as the platform, can't change an Express account's external account. Only the Express account holder can do that via the Express Dashboard.

i correct the value of external_account to send, is there a way to solve it so that this operation can be done through the api through the platform panel

Once you create an Account Link or Account Session, this property can only be updated for Custom accounts.

  1. The instant payout option or button does not show in the Connect account
    So our connect accounts under our platform don’t see this feature to begin with.
