You likely have this setting enabled at https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/billing/automatic for those emails
hey today one of my customers reports that they recived email from stripe in which renew you subscription is subject but they have alredy cancel the subscription 5 months ago
Yeah doesn't seem expected to me that we would have sent this email. My colleagues are taking a deeper look but it will take several minutes.

Sorry for the delay. It looks like we did not send the email for the Subscription you mentioned above. Instead, there's a separate, active Subscription in test mode which triggered the email.
The email address for the Customer in test mode with the active Subscription is one of the emails on your Stripe account, so while we don't usually send out test mode emails, we do send test mode emails in this case because we've determined it's an "internal" email for one of your own people.

Yeah, this is a semi-recent change where we've started sending these emails in test mode.
