No, you can't request a reversal of funds once they're paid out.
You can however debit their account using account debits
https://stripe.com/docs/connect/account-debits
so, this option is to take back money from the stripe connect account balance. Is that correct?
Correct, if the balance goes negative then Stripe would attempt to debit their external bank account (if that's enabled)
shainanand-payout-reversal
so that means, if the payout is already done to connect bank account, using the API I can get the money back?
You could, yes but only if you meet the requirements/regional limitations
Refer to the link I shared, it outlines what account debits can be used for
Is it possible to test this feature in the demo/test environment?
You may be able to, I'd say give it a try. (except for the part where Stripe attempts to debit their external bank account) 🤔
okay thanks
One more question
Is there any option on dashboard to debit from connect account without the API?
hmm, we don't know a ton about dashboard stuff as we mainly work with APIs.
I don't think there's an option from the dashboard though, It's only supported via APIs.
