hello! Since the customer is not on-session when a recurring payment is made using Subscription, Stripe will request for an exemption from SCA/3DS because it's off session and the card was (usually) set up before with 3DS and is all set for that. It would be really rare for off-session payments to require authentication and it depends on whether the issuing bank requires it. You can set it such that Stripe sends emails if confirmation is required for a payment : https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/billing/automatic
