There is not a FX/currency conversion api, no, but yes the default is to consider the equivalent value in USD ($0.50)

so how should we solve this issue? if they entered 100 in their currency we will have to convert that into USD to know if it's equivalent of US$0.5?

You can set your own rough minimum for those currencies if you like, or you can handle the minimum charge amount errors when you attempt to use smaller amounts
