Hello

#

Yeah this is really complicated if you don't just Transfer the funds to their contributors directly.

would I need their financial information? that might be a boundary (the contributors don't know who I am really

?

They would have to onboard with Stripe and Connect to your platform for you to Transfer funds to their account.

Right. So what would the more complicated option be? Is it that we'd develop a custom API (using webhooks and custom logic) that upon receiving them our bulk payment, identifies the item ID's of which products were sold, then initiates transfers on their end to the contributors.? Is there a third party software or plug in that does that?

Yeah you more or less got it.

#

Basically you would transfer the funds to your Connected Account (the other company you are working with) and then they would have to initiate the Transfer from their account to their own Connected Accounts

#

The reason this is complicated is we don't allow you as the "grandfather platform" to touch the "grandchild account".

#

So the second Transfer of funds to their contributors has to come from them. So they could potentially set up Webhooks to listen for when they receive a Transfer from you and then initiate a Transfer to their Connected Accounts

#

It is certainly possible, but just complex.

#

The other requirement here would be that that company and their contributors be in the same region (like both in the US or both in the EU, etc.)

that makes sense. what kind of team should I reach out to to help set this up for me?
