Hello
Are you using the default Portal Configuration from your Dashboard or do you pass a Portal Configuration explicitly when you create your Portal Sessions?
We are using the default portal configuration.
Okay then you would want to toggle on quantity updates at https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/billing/portal under Subscriptions
We updated our settings for the customer portal and ran another live test and we still can't change the quantity.
Do we need to wait for a certain amount of time for this to update?
Did you create a fresh portal Session? And to be clear you do see the ability to change the Price for the Subscription? Just not the quantity? Or you can't update at all?
Yes, we created a fresh portal session. This is a subscription item so we only have the ability to decrease/increase the quantity but not the price. We don't see anywhere to update the quantity.

Can you share the Portal Session ID?
Or the Customer ID that you are testing with if that is easier?

Okay so the Prices that you have enabled for update are not the same Prices as the Price for that Subscription
You need to add that Price to the list in your Portal Configuration
Where do we go to edit this? How do we make it so that we can update the quantity/price for that subscription?
I mean I get that it is in the Portal Config, but... how do we just make it so they can increase the quantity?
What I shared above. Add that Product/Price to the list of update options at: https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/billing/portal
Then create a new Portal Session
And you should see the ability to update quantity
