@fallen kindle unfortunately we don't support this today. You have to unpause and then update the quantity

Suppose the user has paused for a month and after a month when it automatically resumes, the quantity does not get updated.

So we have a subscription that is paused for a month. In between if the user has added has updated the quantity and it fails -> Fair enough
Second scenario is we have a subscription that is paused for a month. User has updated the quantity and it fails. The month has passed and the subscription has resumed. Now it does not sync up
