Can you share the IDs here please
Email ID:
em_0zbsb28ftqwk5xvm4xfocngjmdf9yg
Payment Intent ID:
pi_3Oa4CBHGmr0WDod00ntQStSb
Payment Method Configs:
pmc_1OD7T4HGmr0WDod0OO5LruBU
pmc_1NOIBpHGmr0WDod0Fp8nSCb7
Taking a look
What's the acct_xxx of your Connect platform?
Was pi_3Oa4CBHGmr0WDod00ntQStSb created by you the platform?
I guess acct_1MAF4oJ7BbQFM4Wn?
acct_1MAF4oJ7BbQFM4Wn
Yep, that's it
pi_3Oa4CBHGmr0WDod00ntQStSb should have been created by us, correct
Hmm, how are you creating that? I'd guess with the accounts keys directly? As it wasn't created as a direct charge
From looking at their dashboard again, I can't see our application ID on that Payment Intent. Which may mean that it was in fact the Merchant creating the Intent themselves with their own API key. I've created another Intent to confirm, and I can our application ID in that one
pi_3OaElFHGmr0WDod00XhjTVcS
We should be creating them via the OAuth token -
access_token
stripe_publishable_key
from https://stripe.com/docs/connect/oauth-reference
Yup, seems that way. In that case we'd use the default PM config from their account, not the config from the platform
Which explains the discrepency they stated
Is it correct that we see 2 payment method configurations set to is_default then?
The first one without is their default without our application ID, the the second one, is the one with our application ID, that would make sense then
Yes, exactly
There's a config that their account uses for payments created by them, and then the config that is applied from your platform for payments created by you on their behalf
As they're a standard account they can obviously process payments independent of your platform
Interesting, so it's correct when we view their dashboard we can't see that payment method configuration, just ours platform's, but they should be able to see it themselves
Yes, exactly they'll have a list of configs that they can view/update one for their own payments and one for each platform they're connected to
Ok cool, I'll report this back to our support. Thanks @fringe drift this has been great help
np!
