hi! it depends but in most of our SDKs each version of the SDK is tied to a specific API version and it uses that one.

then each version of the SDK makes all its API requests using a specific API version

what you need to think about is webhooks, you should create a webhook endpoint using the API version the version of the SDK supports. The default API version on your account doesn't matter much.
