This is what the payment screenshot looks like
Hi, for Google Pay to show up, you'd need to use a Chrome Browser.
yes, this is a Chrome Browser.
Also, for wechat you need to make sure that it's turned on, https://stripe.com/docs/payments/wechat-pay and the currency etc is supported.
That looks like Safari as ApplePay is shown
I am pretty sure that this is Google Chrome
We have turned on the Wechat
give me one moment. Let me give you more screenshot
Both Wechat pay and Alipay are turned on. But none shows up
It looks like you're setting setup_future_usage/ subscriptions which is not supported on those payment methods. Can you remove that and try again?
I tested this on one of the pages you shared, and I can confirm that Google Pay is working when I open it in Chrome.
emma-checkout-pms
okay
let me try
do you mean this one ?
I am not sure what setup_future_usage is
Also , this shows that I am using Chrome
It's for a Susbcription payment, you'd want to use Checkout on a one-time payment, https://stripe.com/docs/api/checkout/sessions/create
We document the limitation here, https://stripe.com/docs/payments/wechat-pay
I do not know if you have any special settings here but I'm seeing Google Pay using Chrome. Do you have any extension or anything like that it could be affecting it?
hmm, I am using iphone. Is this a problem?
our product is in SAAS model. Does it mean that wechat and alipay doesn't support subscriptions?
That is correct, although, alipay can be supported with an approval: https://stripe.com/docs/payments/alipay which you can ask for.
how to get the approval?
On this page, https://stripe.com/docs/payments/alipay you can click on the 'Requires approval' link and it will take you to support where you cab ask for an approval.
it just redirects me to https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true

👋 stepping in
That's correct, you should contact our Support team to request access here
Should I send an email or live chat?
Whichever you prefer.
okay, let me use live chat . I prefer to get things done on the spot.
Back to the Google pay issue, what could be the problem? I didn't use any plugin. The google pay is installed as an App in my phone?
Do you have a live card in your Google Wallet?
yes. I have a credit card
Are you located in India?
no. I am in the US
If you go to https://stripe.com/docs/stripe-js/elements/payment-request-button in chrome what do you see at the top of the page?
I saw a apple pay icon
let me double check with my google pay setting
This is what the support says when I ask for special approval for Alipay
You'll need to work with the Support team on approval for recurring Alipay. I can't do anything further for you with that. If you are on an iPhone then you aren't going to see Google Pay, only Apple Pay.
I was under the impression you were on an Android phone
If you are on an iPhone then you aren't going to see Google Pay, only Apple Pay.
Even if I use the Google Chrome browser in Iphone?
