Looking in to those subscriptions. Can you tell me more about where you are seeing "subscription is scheduled to be cancelled"? I don't think we have a webhook event for that, so I want to make sure I know what you are looking at there
Yes, I can. Thanks @charred knot . It is in the new Automations feature: https://dashboard.stripe.com/automations/
- Click "New Automation"
- Give a name
- Select the "Subscription is scheduled to be canceled" trigger
- Click "Continue"
- Click "Add Action"
- Click "Send custom webhook"
- Click the "X" on "Add Delay", so it is sent "Immediately before subscription is cancelled"
- Click Publish

It will register on the subscription as a customer.subscription.custom_event like: https://dashboard.stripe.com/test/events/evt_1OZREKKD3mQa0uCT5riJ6ofG

Ah gotcha, apologies automations are new and I haven't familiarized myself with them properly yet. Looking in to this and will get back to you with what I can find
Ah so both subscriptions did cancel, it is just the custom event that did not send?
Yes, exactly. Production did not send the custom_event
Ah it looks like Automations are not GA yet, so I can't help as much with them. When you were set up with them, do you know if this was phrased as being part of a beta?

If so, there should have been an email address given to you for the beta team to contact for issues like this

There is an email address that Stripe support gave me, but it doesn't work for me automations-beta@stripe.com. We were told this feature was beta, but had been released "GA"
Can you please provide some documentation for me to bring back to my manager that says it is not GA?

And I am seeing things internally that still say beta. Unfortunately not finding a better email address for you, so yes I think talking to your account manager at Stripe would be the best next step here. I think there may have been a miscommunication somewhere about when this was being generally released
