Ah custom fields are added to the same place

Try testing by adding custom field at customer level:

But I think all custom fields at the end are displayed in the same section

I attempted to create a custom field on the customer object. However, these values were also added to the header. The invoice cannot have legal value without these custom values specified

Yep, all custom fields are display at the top/header of the invoice regardless on which object they're set
