currently im adding a trial date. So if i pause for 2mos i add a trial date for 2mos but i didint account that it was addinga credit balance

So my current process is add a trial date first then pause. but its adding a credit balance which is a big problem for me

Sorry, I'm not following, adding a trial date doesn't adjust the end of a Subscription (Subscriptions don't have an end by default).

Sorry i might have confused you. What i mean by the end date is the actual renewal date. So for example if i create a subscription 01/01/2024 then i paused it for 2 mos. I need to move the renewal date too so it wont renew on 01/01/2025 instead it renews on 03/01/2025

What are you setting for proration_behavior when setting the trial period?

im actually not setting anything on the propration behavior

So it will be defaulting to creating prorations then

I would recommend trying to set that to none and see if that avoids the credits you're referring to.

Yes i just tested that now

and its not creating any invoice credit balance anymore
