we don't send emails in test mode. but yes retries should happen.

Hi Soma, I'm aware of test clocks, but how do i stop automatic payments when a test card is added? In real life scenario, the customers will be adding cards and then the payment fails because of card expiry or transactions failure even when the cards are added

you can replace the subscription's card by a card that will fail: https://stripe.com/docs/testing#declined-payments
