hi! not that I'm aware of no.
i have a use case where we create payment intent before booking and sometimes the price might change so i was wondering should i use update payment intent to update the amont or create a new intent altogether
either approach works!
i also have another use case where a customer payment fails because of wrong credentials in this case do i have to create a new intent if he retries the booking?
no, you can attempt to confirm the same PaymentIntent multiple times until it succeeds
