I don't believe there's a way to disable that

#

Checking though

Thanks!

short merlin
#

Doesn't look like it unfortunately

Mhh I was afraid so, should I try to open this as a bug somewhere or will this be in vain ?

short merlin
#

It wouldn't be considered a bug

#

It would be considered a feature request

#

Nothing is broken

north yew
#

fair enough 😄

#

would you know the place to make this request ?

short merlin
#

I can do it for you

north yew
#

need me to write a "ticket" with a more clean explanation or will info above be sufficient ?

short merlin
#

Any info you can give me on why you need the date removed would help

north yew
#

The reason this date would need to be remove is because that line item is a one-time product/price but the invoice created shows the subscriptions duration which makes sense for the first line item which is the subscription product but it doesnt make sense for the one-time item as this would imply that on the next yearly invoice the customer would need to re-pay that one-time fee

#

On the checkout it properly shows as a one-time fee but on the generated invoice it doesn't hence why I would call it a "visual bug"

short merlin
#

Got it thanks

#

Another way to look at it though is the invoice item only applies for the date range shown

#

I could see how someone would be confused though

north yew
#

yes, only my customer implies it as "ohh but now our customers will think that next year they need to pay that fee again"

short merlin
#

got it

north yew
#

the issue you're creating I assume is only visible internally within Stripe, or is there a way for me to follow it's status ?

short merlin
#

Internal only

#

There's not a way to follow along unfortunately

#

And also no guarantees on whether or not the team decides to implement this

#

Ultimately it's a decision on what they think makes the most sense

#

I wouldn't rely on it to be changed

north yew
#

got it, thanks!

No problem
