hi there!
you mean adding a coupon to a specific product on an existing subscription?
no, actually to the product itself. the reason is so that the new subscriptions and renewals will have different price.
This is actually related to my previous question.
basically I want the existing subscriptions to maintain the prices with no prorata. and new subscriptions and renewals will have a new price.
But this time I'm thinking of using a coupon.
coupon can only be applied to customer or subscription.
and new subscriptions and renewals will have a new price.
for new subscriptions: create a new price. for existing subscripitons, update them to use the new price.
Thank you for clarification. It's a big help for a newbie like me
and you can learn more about updating the price of an existing Subscription here: https://stripe.com/docs/billing/subscriptions/upgrade-downgrade
