hi. we are getting a strange error when using the Stripe Connect process to connect an existing Stripe account to our Stripe Connect platform account

not unfortunately since this was a live request from a client but there was an odd error saying "the account is already connected to another platform"
all we know is that this account is connected to Xero with Stripe but not to a Stripe Connect platform
Sounds to me like Xero is a platform
so the error message might make sense
but that's for accounting and not for processing payments
Yeah I'm not 100% sure but without the request ID, I have nothing to work with ๐ฆ
looking at the Stripe Connect OAuth authorize request URL there is no requestId in the query string
It is possible that the account you're trying to connect is controlled by a different platform (in which case you can't connect it to other platforms)
Can you share the account ID you're working with?
I need to contact the client so I think I will get in touch later when I have it
the info I got is that the connecting account was not connected to another platform other than having setup the Xero feature
