Hello, apologies for the delay. You can get this behavior by specifying proration_behavior: none while making the subscription update https://stripe.com/docs/api/subscriptions/update#update_subscription-proration_behavior
I tried that, but this won't charge the customer immediately for the full plan amount
Can you try also resetting the billing cycle anchor? https://stripe.com/docs/billing/subscriptions/billing-cycle#reset-the-billing-cycle-to-the-current-time

My colleague tried with proration behavior none and billing cycle now and the full amount was charged immediately
