hi! that's not something we offer on Discord no. Was there a specific technical coding/API question I can help you with?

remote gulch
#

Im not asking on discord

#

I am asking with someone on dev team

#

I already stated what the issue is

#

We're having cards rejected due to Fraud department

#

since our platform customers are in Canada and we're based in US

#

charges are shown as US and getting flagged and not passed

worn heron
#

not sure how I can help sorry, this server is for specific questions, happy to help with those. Maybe reach out to whomever recommended this refactor you mention, or open a support case at https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true .

ok ty

#

What do you mean

#

I gave you a very specific question

#

We use Stripe Express and have platform customers

#

Some of which are based in Canada

#

The transactions are being blocked because their fraud department sees a charge coming from US (because we're based in US and we are the platform and funds pass thru us to them).

#

How do we fix this issue so banks see the charge coming from the end user's location

worn heron
#

maybe have a look at on_behalf_of.

#

Our clients, the connected account.

#

We're already using OBO

worn heron
#

then I'm not sure what else to suggest without fully diving into the context. OBO should enable local settlement. Maybe there are certain flows in your application that use it and some that don't

remote gulch
#

Well let's fully dive into the context

#

What do you need to better do your job

#

Because this is your job to assist correct?

#

Seems like you're just trying to ignore this request for assistance and move on to the next one.

#

We're using your platform, you collect processing fees from us.

#

Hundreds of thousands a year.

#

I think we deserve a little more than - good luck.

#

part of my job is replying to support tickets as well, hence why I'd ask you to open a support case with all the context(right now I have no idea what your merchant account is or any context on this refactor you say we asked you to do), in a support case we'd be better able to help.

remote gulch
#

Well what do you need and I will provide it

worn heron
#

I need you to wrote to https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true and then your case will get escalated and we'll solve it.

Discord support is for smaller/anonymous/scoped questions, a larger task like investigating your overall integration and suggesting pointed changes to make is something we and I and my team do, but we can't do it here on a public server, it's a support ticket.

thanks!
