you can't do this for Express accounts, they add their payout details through the onboarding(the AccountLink), you can't use the API.

ok so there's no alternative if I want the customer to be able to modify external account from my app ?

you'd direct them to an AccountLink or the Express Dashboard to do that sort of thing
