I’ve talked to them for months and they haven’t. I’d really appreciate some help.
I was directed here by someone else who had somewhat similar issues and they said you could help
I’ve been having this issue since June and I’m missing out on serious payments. I’ve tried everything and I’m really stuck
The only other thing I can think of is creating a new account - if you click the dropdown in the top left hand corner and creating a new account which gives you option of picking your country
The problem is this happens
It only allows me to link my X account with the email first use with Stripe
What's your account ID (should be like acct_123)

I know the country cannot be changed, but at the very least if there’s anyway to delete my original stripe account and remake it with the USA in mind that would be fantastic.
Gotcha - if you want to get around the duplicate email issue you should be able to just add "+stripe" (or something similar) so it's a different email.
So instead of test@gmail.com, you'd do test+stripe@gmail.com.
Other than that, the only other option you have is to push on both Stripe and/or X to delete the account for you
I don’t want to take up too much of your time I know you’re busy, but I have legit spent hours talking to stripe support and x support for months and nothing has helped at all. If you could do everything you could man I would appreciate it so much.
What do you mean by duplicate email issue? I have used 4 separate emails to create new stripe accounts to try to link with X, however X seems to be locked with the original account I made on Stripe.
Is there anyway I can delete my stripe account manually? If not, do you know any ways to get their attention? I have a relatively high level influence in the X sphere, but not enough that I could contact them and expect a response.
I was referring to the "Someone has already signed up for this account with a different email" error you've been getting - but reading into the error a bit more this may be X trying to link your already existing Stripe account instead of creating a new Stripe account (which won't work)
Thre are ways to delete express accuonts, but it needs to be done by the platform

Since I have had troubles with Stripe, I have essentially no reason to use it because I can’t access anything with it. So I’m relatively unfamiliar with the ins and outs of the app.
Basically how can I get the platform to delete my account
You just have to keep pushing on X to do this for you
Is there any methods of doing this historically that have been successful? I can’t think of anything besides just messaging them repeatedly, which I’ve already been doing since June.
Sorry, we don't really know what the best way to push on them would be - we mostly deal strictly with the API in this channel 😦
