Hi there 👋 it sounds like you're working with either Destination Charges, or Separate Charges and Transfers. So it is safe to assume you're also working with either Express or Custom connected accounts?
Yes we are working on Custom connected accounts
Gotcha, I'm admittedly a little fuzzy on how fees are assessed, and if your account is on any sort of non-standard pricing that isn't something I'll have insight into. That being said, my understanding is that for that Connect scenario, the fees for Connect would be assessed directly against your Platform Account's balance.
I would strongly recommend double checking that with our Support team though, who is more familiar with fees in general and would be able to indicate if there is anything unique about your account billing that could change that:
