I thought it would only work with Stripe's certified readers...

No the physical test cards will work with Tap to Pay

Nice! We're from Brazil, and I think the test card can't be shipped here ☹️ .

Unfortunately I do not.

However, you can be sure the confirmation request made it to our servers successfully since that is how we determined you were using a non-test card.

Well, at least now I know that Stripe's test card would work! Will try to get some.
